PTI virtual jalsa, internet speed goes down across Pakistan: Internet users especially the social media users are facing a lot of difficulties on Sunday due to very slow internet speed across Pakistan most likely due to the first virtual jalsa of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).

The internet speed started slowing down in Pakistan even before actual happening of the PTI’s virtual jalsa. Several internet users had started complaining about slower internet speed especially during evening hours.

There are several internet applications, mostly the social media platforms where the netcitizens are facing difficulties to use them accordingly.

YouTube, X (Twitter) and other social media platforms aren’t working properly due to slow internet speed.

This is pertinent to mention here that slowing down of the internet in Pakistan was unannounced and the most of the citizens weren’t expecting it.

The founder of the PTI, Imran Khan is currently in prison and he is facing many charges under cases of different nature. Most of key leaders of the PTI have either left the party after doing press conferences or they are also facing different criminal charges.

The party was holding first of its virtual meeting in Pakistan ahead of general election which are scheduled on February 8 next year.

However, this effort of the PTI faced a major blow when internet speed was slowdown in the country and fewer could  participate in it due to connectivity issues.
