Coronavirus spreading in police officers in Rawalpindi

Coronavirus continues to play havoc in Pakistan and Punjab Police is also falling victim to it especially its Rawalpindi Region.
Recently an ASP, two DSPs and an SHO have been tested positive for the pandemic in Rawalpindi.
Those police officials who have been tested positive for coronavirus include ASP New Town, Imran Khan and DSP Headquarters Azhar Hussain and some others.
DSP City Circle Asar Ali and SHO Gujar Khan have also been tested positive for Covid-19.
According to sources after being tested positive for the pandemic the affected police’ officers have been provided quarantine facilities.
According to CPO Rawalpindi, Muhammad Ahsan Younas social distancing is being made ensured at all the police stations and other offices.
He also announced to conduct tests for coronavirus for all police personnel of the police
stations and offices where the affected officers were deputed.
