Number of serious Coronavirus cases rising

Coronavirus has affected all the countries all over the globe and number of affected patients are rising day by day.
Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) after the outbreak of pandemic in Pakistan started fight against the virus in the country.
Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) started screening, testing and treatment of the affected population.
Since the beginning 5,800 patients have attended at the SIUT Corona Clinic. This number is increasing with time, stated a press release issued on Friday by SIUT.
During the last single day (Thursday) a total of 251 patients attended the clinic, further stated the press release.
Of these 5,800 patients 884 were tested for Coronavirus and 207 patients turned out to be positive for the pandemic. Majority was advised for “home isolation”.
Up till now 50 patients were admitted in SIUT Isolation Ward on different times. A total of15 sick patients who needed ventilator support were admitted in ICU.
Of these seven patients completely recovered and were discharged only two patients lost their lives, rest are still admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Since beginning SIUT has established coronavirus helpline on 24-hour basis and we provided guidance to 554 callers. The SIUT helpline number is 021-99215460, concluded the press release.
