Two setup of illegal gateway exchanges recovered

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) during a raid in Lahore recovered two setups of illegal gateway exchanges besides recovering other items connected with this racket and owned by accused persons.
On receipt of a complaint from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) regarding illegal voice termination, a raid was conducted by Cybercrime Reporting Center Lahore in Mohallah Tariqabad near General Hospital, Ferozpur Road, Lahore. .
The raiding team successfully recovered a setup of 02 illegal gateway exchanges along with laptops, TP Link routers, USB internet device and a hundreds of SIMs owned by the accused namely Muhammad Shahzad and arrested the accused person namely Hurr Raza Mohallah Tariqabad near General Hospital, Ferozpur Road, Lahore.
A case FIR U/S 13,14,16,17 of PECA-2016, 31(1)PT(RO)Act-1996 R/w 420,468,471,109-PPC has been registered against the accused persons namely Hurr Raza and Muhammad Shahzad in Cybercrime Reporting Center Lahore.
Meanwhile according to the FIA investigation into this effect is in progress.
