Islamabad
In backdrop of spread of pandemic coronavirus, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan has once again asked the people to stay at home but ground realities are bit different.
Halfhearted attempts of lockdown would hardly bear any fruits unless solid measures are taken. After relaxation in lockdown by the government of Punjab there is massive rush of traffic in Rawalpindi on its major roads. Murree Road Rawalpindi is presenting traffic congestion due to huge traffic on it.
So far according to government data a total 176 persons have died due to coronavirus in Pakistan while so far 8,418 cases of it have been confirmed in the country.
Meanwhile the premier in his tweet on Monday asked the countrymen to stay as much as possible during this pandemic. The more people show self-discipline, the easier it will be for us to manage the COVID19 plus ease, he further stated.
