The new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to Twitter, Elon Elon Musk has categorically denied reports of asking Twitter’s engineers to take measures to artificially boost his tweets.

A report had stated that Musk had asked engineers associated with Twitter to change the procedure and prioritize his tweets.

According to the report Musk was unhappy with the number of views on his posts which he was getting during the Super Bowl.

According to the report by Platformer, the change in the algorithm had resulted in a superfluity of Elon Musk’s tweets which even had the feed of millions of users, even those who were not following him.

However, Elon Musk denied these allegations and stated that the source of the report was a discontented Twitter employee who was no longer associated with the microblogging platform.

“The “source” of the bogus Platformer article is a disgruntled employee who had been on paid time off for months, had already accepted a job at Google and felt the need to poison the well on the way out. Twitter will be taking legal action against him,” Musk stated in a tweet while responding to these allegations.

According to the report Musk has been getting considerably lower response on his tweets compared with United States President, Joe Biden, particularly on the message which he had broadcasted to support Philadelphia Eagles. Despite the fact that both of these personalities had expressed similar sentiment, the response on Musk’s tweets had lower views compared with Biden, the report had stated.

It further maintained that the business tycoon was frustrated by a lower number of views on his posts which have been dropping during the recent weeks.

This is pertinent to mention here that the CEO of Twitter has around 129 million followers, whereas the US President’s account has approximately 37 million.

Elon Musk became owner of Twitter in October 2022 after which the microblogging platform has seen much chaos. It has witnessed mass layoffs, the return of thousands of banned accounts, and some other issues which have been making rounds on social media platforms and mainstream media.

Meanwhile, Musk has also received applause across the globe recently on account of suggesting world leaders, CEOs of the companies and government functionaries to speak in their own voices while communicating messages on Twitter.

He was of the view that while communicating in their own voices on the social media platform, these people should not be fearful on account of facing criticism in this process.
