Drugs usage in schools: A member of drug supplying gang nabbed
Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have nabbed a main accused of a gang involved in supplying drugs in packaging of a renowned application Daraz.com to students of schools and colleges in Islamabad.
On a tip off, Police Station Ramna arrested an accused Muhammad Naseer son of Muhammad Arzaib in front of SLS School, G-11/4 who was in possession of 25 grams of weed.
Earlier, the accused after seeing the police had made an attempt to flee from the crime scene.
However, the police arrested him along with his suspicious belongings. He was holding a shopping bag of blue colour. When the police searched the shopping bag it found that it was containing three enveloped having packaging of daraz.com.
When thoroughly searched further it was revealed that an envelope was containing a plastic container having packaging of daraz.com in which 25 grams of weed was found.
During further investigation, the accused revealed that along with his other accomplices they supply drugs to students of schools and colleges.
The police have registered the case and investigation is in process to nab other accused involved in this heinous crime.
Lately there has been reports of drug usage amongst the students, especially amongst female students in the vicinity of ICT. This issue has also been echoing in the Parliament as well in the recent past.
The SHO of PS Ramna on the directives of IG Islamabad has been striving hard to eliminate this heinous crime. The police is expecting that further investigation into the case would reveal astonishing facts about the gang involved in supplying drugs to the students.
This is pertinent to mention here that drugs suppliers recently have trying to adopt smart tricks to deceive the law enforcement agencies. The drug dealer in question had used packaging of draz.com to deceive the police. However, the police proved itself smarter and eventually nabbed him red handedly.
