Dr Arif Alvi takes notice of tender notice about cages for parrots

President Dr Arif Alvi has taken serious notice on the publication of tender notice for the construction of cages of parrot (Maccau) at Zoo Area Aiewan-e-Sadr by Capital development Authority CDA (Islamabad).
President Dr Arif Alvi Thursday took serious notice of a tender notice for construction of new cages for parrots at Aiwan-e-Sadr and ordered its immediate withdrawal.
In his reaction on a news item appeared in a section of media, the President House spokesperson said the president had taken a very serious notice on the publication of the tender notice by the Capital Development Authority for construction of new cages for parrot at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The spokesperson said that the President ordered immediate withdrawal of the said tender notice and initiation of inquiry. The spokesperson further said the tender notice had been released without obtaining approval from the competent authority.
Fortunetelling is negated too but prediction or downfall is made: On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif said he was not a seer or a fortuneteller but he knew Imran Khan’s downfall was imminent.
Speaking to visitors at Kot Lakhpat prison, Nawaz said, Imran has concrete charges against his sister Aleema Khan and that they will be held accountable.
The former prime minister further said, “Imran Khan is a player who will soon be thrown out of the stadium by spectators. His Bani Gala residence is in the midst of corruption. Imran should be ashamed of himself.”
