Mohammad Majid Ali, 28, tragically took his own life on the first day of Eid ul Adha. According to some media reports he was battling with depression for several years and finally he succumbed to it.
According to sad reports, the international Pakistani snooker player Majid Ali cut his throat with an electronic saw that was used to cut wood in his house in the area of Samundri Faisalabad.
According to family sources, Majid Ali was suffering from depression for the past few years while he had no financial problems. Majid Ali was the runner-up of the Asian Junior Championship in 2013 and the bronze medalist of the 6th World Red Championship.
He was a great snooker player who followed on the footprints of renowned Pakistani snooker players like former world champion Muhammad Yusuf, Saleh Muhammad, and Qarat-ul-Ain.
Majid Ali made the name of Pakistan famous in the snooker game at the international level.
