Death Anniversary of Sidhu Moosewala: Recently Sidhu Moosewala or Sidhu Moose Wala was remembered on his first death anniversary in India and in the rest of the areas of the world where Punjabi is spoken and the rich tributes were paid to him by his fans to mark this occasion.

Sidhu Mooselwala is still chart-topper as far as his songs’ ratings are concerned and his death hasn’t faded away is popularity amongst his fan following across the world.

Sidhu Moosewala also has his fan following in the neighboring country Pakistan where a 15 years old fan of him was arrested under the charges of inviting people through social media to an aerial firing event to mark Moosewala’s first death anniversary in Okara.

According to available information Sharjil Malik, a teenager in question, had uploaded a poster of Moosewala on his Facebook wall, and he invited people to attend the singer’s death anniversary event at his residence in Okara, Punjab, Pakistan.

The teenager had wanted to remember the singer on his death anniversary in the same style as he (Moosewala) himself used to do by eulogizing guns in his song’s videos.

A complaint was registered against this event and acting upon it the police arrested him on Sunday, a day before the event was scheduled.

However, the teenager was released shortly after his arrest when he tendered written apology and his father gave an undertaking that the young boy would avoid as such activities in future.

Moosewala, real name was Shubhdeep Singh and he was shot dead by six assailants at Jawahar Ke village in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29 last year.
