On directives of Administrator and Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s veterinary department took action against illegal slaughter house in Malir and seized 345 Kilogram beef which has been deposited to zoo for feed of animals, stated a press release issued by the media department of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).
On a tip of, Director veterinary department led an operation in Malir and seized illegally slaughtered meat, it further states
The department warned butcher community not to establish illegal slaughter house or else strict action would be taken according to law. The teams of veterinary department are conducting raids across the city to ensure provision of hygienic meat, the press release concluded.
