PMA salutes Drs and Paramedics for Fighting against Coronavirus

Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) salutes the doctors and paramedics who are serving the nation in this difficult time. They are on the front line in the war “Pakistan versus Coronavirus”, because their lives are at risk, stated PMA (Centre) in a statement on Saturday.

In the present situation they are examining the patients at the cost of their life, even their families are also at risk. PMA requested all the paramedics and doctors to follow all the preventive measures as per WHO guideline.

Please do not examine the corona positive patients without having Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

PMA appreciated Sindh Government for establishing Field Isolation Center at Expo Centre Karachi. Pakistan Medical Association, Pakistan Army, Aga Khan University Hospital, Essa Lab., A.O clinic and other volunteers are also supporting and working day and night at Field Isolation Center, Karachi. With the hard work of all the partners the Isolation Center is almost completed.

Confirmed cases of Coronavirus will be admitted here with the approval of doctor’s authority at the center.

After the decision of supporting Sindh Government for establishing Field Isolation Center by the Executive Committee of PMA Karachi, PMA has helped the government as its national responsibility for the cause of controlling Coronavirus in the province of Sindh.

PMA once again request people to stay at home, do not go out unnecessarily. Do not gather in the form of crowd. Wash your hands regularly, avoid touching your hands to your eyes, nose and mouth. Adopt all the preventive measures that we have been requesting you.
