FIA Arrests Imposter for blackmailing people

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested an imposter from Lahore who used to introduce himself as an army officer and as Principal Secretary of PM to blackmail and loot people.

The FIA Cyber Crime Wing had received a complaint from National Highway Authority (NHA) about this imposter named as Waqar Ali Shah.

Nowadays some fraudulent persons have devised different tactics to fool people by impersonating  themselves as army officer, NAB officers, police officers and others. Sometime they are also  caught by law enforcers and they deceived persons realize that they were dealing with the wrong person.

The person in question is said to be involved in transfers/postings in the police and other departments while impersonating himself as an army officer or Principal Sectary of the prime minister.

The accused while impersonating different disguises even looted an officer of NHA and deprived him of heavy sum of Rs4 million.

Moreover, this fraudulent person collected millions of rupees as gratification money from various persons who were being investigated in different police stations by changing the direction of the investigation in their favour.

The FIA has registered case against him and started investigating after seeking three days remand from relevant court of law.

The accused also had a few female accomplices who used to assist him in looting people by calling them on phone.

The FIA has expressed commitment to arrest these ladies abettors soon.
