Eric Stoltz as Marty McFly: Stoltz was originally cast as Marty McFly in “Back to the Future,” but after a few weeks of filming, it was clear that he wasn’t working out in the role. Michael J. Fox was then brought in to replace him.
Sean Connery as Gandalf: Connery was reportedly offered the role of Gandalf in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, but turned it down because he didn’t understand the script.
